Gulliver and Rowan
Books on tape
This was probably my least favorite NR book that I have read. It was very much about fire jumpers and what they do. Almost to the point of being too technical. I could have done without most of the detail that was done when it came to jumping the fires.
Something that squeezed me out was the storyline of Rowan's dad and his new girlfriend. It wasn't the storyline itself by the fact that the first sex scene was between them. In no way, shape or form do I want to read about people my parents age having sex. It was kind of disturbing and gross.
As usual, I really liked the hero, Gull. He was fun and confident. Rowan was ok but mildly stubborn and annoying at times. The bad guy was kind of obvious.
